HÁRFA (Network for Regional Development Foundation) is a Hungarian non-governmental organisation aimed at supporting the strengthening of networking necessary for a balanced regional development among social, economic and public actors. The Foundation principally operates with a focus on local development actions, paying particular attention to the convergence regions.

Through research activities and the organisation of networking events, professional trainings and forums, HÁRFA intends to identify the needs of its target groups and develop a knowledge base related to social and economic regional development.

HÁRFA is an experienced player in the field of social innovation: in partnership with three Hungarian universities, in the framework of the ongoing TINLAB “Social Innovation National Laboratory” project is developing and testing pilot projects with innovative approaches in social fields. HÁRFA is an active participant in transnational partnerships and international programmes as well: the Foundation promotes cross-border regional development by generating and participating in international projects.

EX ANTE Consulting Ltd. is a Budapest-based strategic and management consulting company engaged in planning, managing and evaluating development procedures and projects, with 20 years of extensive experience.

The main activities of the company include supporting clients in national, international and transnational project implementation from monitoring, writing and evaluating proposals to comprehensive project management and the provision of consulting services for both public and private actors, including international organisations, central administrative bodies, public institutions, local governments, NGOs, enterprises on the field of regional and urban development, human development, business development, logistics and mobility, public administration, international and transnational cooperation.

EX ANTE operates a multinational network of consultants and participated in the preparation of various cross-border development programmes as well as in the design, implementation and management of numerous international and transnational projects.

FACTO, located in Barcelona, is a growing-up social company with more than six years of experience, a team of 35 people with complementary backgrounds and expertise and the acknowledgement of more than 1400 advised social enterprises and organizations. FACTO works hand-to-hand with public administrations (local, regional and national) and a wide scope of projects related to social entrepreneurship to promote the cooperative model and SSE values contributing to the sustainability of companies and promoting a positive social impact.

FACTO’s mission is to create decent jobs while enhancing social positive impact via innovative projects. Initiatives within the framework of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) are a great instrument for integration to the labour market and for cooperative values and promoting decent work among people in vulnerable situations boosting social change and innovation with community dimensioned projects that address local needs powered up with global methodologies and partners (glocal thinking).

The Social Business Hub Styria (SBHS) is a regional competence centre and support organisation, incubator for social and green entrepreneurship. It plays an active role in forming the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Styria.

SBHS raises awareness as well as establishes and expands the regional ecosystem for impact-oriented entrepreneurship based on the sustainability dimensions of economy - ecology - society and supra-regional and international networking. With the social business incubation program for early-stage entrepreneurs and the social business acceleration program for established social enterprises, it offers a consistent range of support for the social entrepreneurship community, practically from the first idea to scaling into larger dimensions of the business model. Specifically, SBHS inspires and motivates people to develop impact-oriented business models from sustainable ideas, to convert them into marketable companies as social entrepreneurs and, through qualified scaling processes, to turn a solution for a few into a standard solution for many. The organisation builds vibrant networks with its partners working together to realize the vision of an economy for the benefit of all.

The network of SBCS/SBHS currently covers more than 150 social entrepreneurs in the Austrian region of Styria.
